Miriam G. Lopez
Miriam began her career in the technology industry, leading teams that provided integrated services across 23 countries in Europe, Asia Pacific, North and South America. She was responsible for delivering business outcomes and value to customers, such as British Petroleum, Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley. Her operational experience comes from leading the talent attraction, onboarding and training strategy across an organization with 17,000 employees serving 280 million customers worldwide.
Most recently, Miriam has consulted with key executives and faculty at Amazon, CenterPoint Energy, Chase, City of Houston, ConocoPhillips, Enterprise Products Partners, HP, JPMorgan, Mental Health Association, NRG, PepsiCo, Shell, T-Mobile, University of Houston and Waste Management.
Miriam was born in Mexico City and is fluent in reading, writing and speaking Spanish. She is an active member of the LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce and community. She also serves as co-chair of the Leadership Subcommittee for The Center for Houston’s Future, an affiliate of the Greater Houston Partnership focused on key issues impacting the region.
Miriam is trained in different methodologies—including LEAN, Six Sigma, Dare to Lead—and holds a BS in professional writing and technical communications from the University of Houston.
