Elle Destree

Elle is a learning and development strategist, facilitator and coach who helps individuals, teams and companies work more effectively.

She’s driven by a passion to make work better for everyone. Elle believes that when people and teams work sustainably, intentionally and inclusively, they not only produce better work—they also have a better experience. Through coaching, she helps leaders develop more systems, structures and processes to leverage the best from their teams.

Prior to becoming a coach, Elle led the learning experience team at Airbnb, where she was responsible for operationalizing the design, launch and management of all learning programs for over 7,000 employees globally. She was also a learning and development program manager at Facebook and small startups.

Most recently, Elle consulted with and coached leaders at Airbnb, Autodesk, Campbell’s, Doordash, Dropbox, Duolingo, EA, Facebook, Nike, Sonos and Square.

Elle’s experience also relies on her background as a program manager and people leader. She is an expert in helping leaders, teams and organizations identify their top priorities and design ways to reach their goals efficiently and effectively.

As the fundraising planning chair for La Casa de las Madres, San Francisco’s oldest domestic violence shelter and advocacy nonprofit, Elle plans their largest fundraising event every year, which directly benefits their community services.

Elle has individual and team coaching certifications from New Ventures West and Aletheia Coaching,  a BS from the University of Illinois in Media Studies, and an MBA from the Quantic School of Business and Technology.
